Yo just get the cheapest nVidia card with 1GB of memory or greater. It'll work with the MPE once you mess with the program a bit. Anything above 1GB memory and more cores is just better.

Yeah but unfortunately AMD = shit for video editing. Buy an equally priced intel and you'll get better performance, even if your clock speed is less. Even an i5 will tear up video.

Get the VMP. it's a LOT smaller and lighter than the VM and the audio quality is just a tad better than the original VM.
